Have you met Adele Wechsler yet? Well let me tell you… this amazing designer is a pioneer in eco wedding gowns. I believe her gowns are simple yet full of so much personality. She designs “for the bride who cares about the world in which she lives”. Her philosophy is simple: “I think it is essential for each of us to try and make individual efforts on this earth, no matter how small, in order make an overall difference!

Adele Wechsler’s Eco Couture collection paves the way for a luxury look that maintains eco-friendly standards by using certified organic hemp and silk, vegetable dyes, and remnant fabrics and lace. And, every piece is produced with Fair Trade Labor in Toronto, Canada.

One interesting fact is that Adele Wechsler has a tree planted in the home state of every bride that purchases at one of her trunk shows. So, eco chic!

Eco Couture

Jessica’s Eco Couture brings together love of haute couture with care and responsibility for the planet, and human rights. The majority of her collection is made with organic luxury blend fabrics such as heavy weight hempsilk satin, which is a blend of raw silk and hemp, shantung (doupioni, raw silk), and duchess satin. The designer also has a collection for expecting, earth friendly brides.

To see her entire collection visit Jessica Iverson’s site, and those expecting brides go to Maternity Bride.
