Our Real Wedding for this month is sweet, romantic and very elegant. It was shot by the very talented photographers Cheyenne and Geoff Schultz.

As promised and to wrap up Jill and Alan Valek’s Real Wedding, here are their fabulous thank you cards. Alan says that they had Elvis sing to them at the altar so HE HAD to use him for the thank you card. As a designer I have to agree with him – he had no other logic and appropriate option. How adorable are these?!

Last week, we shared with you the adorable save-the-dates that Alan Valek did for his weeding. This week he was kind enough to share his amazing wedding pictures shot by photographer Olga Wilson.
Alan told me that they gave their guests a gift box with shades and then had the photographer take shots of everyone. How cool is that! Their wedding was without a doubt fun and full of personality and style.

Happy 2010!
Let’s start off this year with a fun wedding. The Florida based photographer Karen Lisa had the opportunity of shooting the wedding of Melissa and Mike at the Ritz Carlton Palm Beach. She was able to capture this fun couple getting married surrounded by beautiful orchids (which give the event an organic feel). Truly amazing!
As I was browsing InStyle Weddings, I came across the wedding of the Beverly Hills Chihuahua actress Ali Hillis. The beautiful event was captured by the California-based photographer Cameron Ingalls.
Ali and Matt’s wedding was full of stylish details that most crafty brides can do themselves. See for yourself…
Beautiful parasols
In lieu of rice, guests tossed white rose petals (biodegradable!).
At the reception, the couple seated guests at three long feasting tables adorned with silk runners hand-sewn by the bride's aunt, as well as square vases filled with dendrobium orchids by Pismo Beach Florist.
The crafty bride used a paint pen to decorate rocks with romantic words like "destiny."
The couple gave each guest a personalized note tucked into a recycled glass bottle.
Namrita and Roman’s Montecito wedding caught my eyes because of the vibrant colors, use of fresh fruits as part of decoration, and the multi-cultural aspect of it. I love how they were able to combine the pinks, yellows and oranges. Great eye candy!
